Welcome

The 15th Station is the first Catholic Podcast in New Zealand. We launched on the Feast of the Assumption (August 15) 2007, as that is the feast day of New Zealand.

Our monthly podcast brings together fresh perspectives on Catholic news from around the world. We also try to bring you up to speed with the big events in the Church in New Zealand.

If you like our podcast and you want to get in touch with us, you can drop us an email at . You can also find out more about this project (like where we got our name) on the about us page.

Thanks for tuning in to the 15th Station.

In this latest edition of Familia we explore the following questions: - Can you offer some practical tips for raising medium to large families? - If a person from a different denomination gets married and divorces due to his/her spouse cheating on them, and then later they become Catholic; Can that person later on get married again in the Catholic church and do they need to get an annulment? - Are pro-lifers just unrealistic idealists who promote ideas that just don't work in the real world? - What exactly does chastity mean?

Thanks for an interesting and thoughtful podcast.
One question-I had thought that adultery was the only "exception" to the divorce rule-e.g. "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery." To me this would imply that if your spouse had cheated on you & it eventually led to divorce, that you could lawfully later re-marry. ?

    Hi Bonita,

Thanks for the great question - we will add it to the list of questions for next month's Podcast!

    God bless,
    Brendan
